We are looking for a Relief Officer to join our team based at our client site based in Glasgow. Our client is one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. About the Role:





As a Relief Officer, you will be responsible for:


Ensuring the building is safe and protected by carrying out both internal and external patrols, actively preventing any security concerns. Checking, and verifying entry passes, monitoring of alarm systems, access control and investigating any suspicious activity or behaviour. Interaction with customers, meeting and greeting both staff and visitors; listening to requests, taking an interest in what they have to say, show empathy, and be prepared to answer questions and follow up where you feel you might be able to help. It's about going that extra mile to show people we care.

What we are looking for:




To hold a current SG SIA Licence Proven experience in a security role or a similar position. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
