  • Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)

Need To Know

Are you a pharmacist looking for a new challenge? Do you have current hospital experience, or would you like to further develop your clinical skills and work in a unique mixed clinical and community role?

Are you full-time or part-time? We can be flexible.

We are seeking a patient focused Relief Pharmacist to join our dedicated Boots pharmacy teams in a mixed position where you would be working at Swindon Western Hospital and neighboring Boots stores.

This is a great opportunity to further develop your clinical skills working in our hospital out-patient pharmacy, and to work collaboratively with the NHS Trust whilst occasionally spending time in our Boots stores within our community to widen your career portfolio.

As a Relief Pharmacist for Boots, you will:

- Gain confidence quickly.
- Experience different stores and different challenges.
- Receive flexible work patterns.
- Learn best practice to share with other stores.
- Work within a mix of clinical and community pharmacy.
- Receive paid transportation at 45 pence per mile

We have a strong, dedicated planning team that will provide you with your Rota\'s at least 4-6 weeks in advance.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work within busy, service lead stores; you will have the support of teams of experienced ACT\'s, dispensers and pharmacy advisors, as well as string retail management support teams and a dedicated Area Manager.

This position comes with the opportunity to complete your independent prescribing qualification, fully funded by Boots! And, the Trust can support you with providing a DPP for the course.

We will also consider newly qualified pharmacists for this position.

Pharmacy Opening Times for This Store are:

Monday to Friday 9am - 7:30pm
Saturday 9am - 2pm
Sunday - 9am - 1pm
(Flexible working, part-time and full-time hours are always considered)
