To provide a professional and welcoming security customer service to station visitors, contractors and travellers. Providing direction and assistance as required, managing Gateline access and egress control, assisting in emergencies and evacuations, in compliance with the site Assignment Instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acting as a highly visible deterrent.
Assisting members of the public and providing directions.
Carrying out static and foot patrols;
Controlling station access and egress.
Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
Providing a high level of customer service.
Responding to onsite incidents and notifying the appropriate authorities.
Reporting and recording onsite incidents.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
You have at least one year of security experience.
You are capable of dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
You are able to communicate clearly and effectively, attaining a good standard of verbal and written English.
You have good organisational and record-keeping skills.
You are IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
You are well-presented at all times.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a current SIA security Licence.
Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.
