Position: Relief Security Officer

Hours: Various (flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends)

Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour (site-dependent)

Locations: Various sites across Edinburgh and Livingston

Transport: Must have access to a vehicle or excellent transport links

Key Requirements:

Valid SIA Licence - essential

Full UK Driving Licence - preferred due to the mobile nature of the role

First Aid at Work (FAW) - desirable

Right to Work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history

Confident using IT systems and reporting tools

Flexible, professional, and reliable with the ability to work independently

Job Opportunity Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property? Qualifications

Essential Skills & Requirements

Valid

SIA Licence

Access to a vehicle

or

reliable transport links

to travel between sites

Full UK Driving Licence

(preferred, due to the relief nature of the position)

Right to Work in the UK

and

5-year checkable employment/education history

Strong

customer service

skills with excellent

verbal and written communication

Computer literate

and confident using reporting systems

Flexibility

to work a variety of shifts, including

days, nights, and weekends
