The Role: Relief Security Officer
As a Relief Security Officer, you'll play a key role in safeguarding people, property and assets at one of our well-established client sites in Wokingham. You'll represent Mitie on the front line - ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone.
This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced, motivated and adaptable security professional who enjoys variety and wants to grow in the ever-evolving security industry.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide a visible, professional security presence to deter incidents and enhance safety.
• Conduct regular patrols, access control and incident response in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain detailed reports and incident logs with accuracy and professionalism.
• Comply with all security, safety and legal requirements at all times.
• Work effectively with site teams, clients and colleagues to deliver service excellence.
• Participate in training and upskilling to develop your career within Mitie.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Proven background in the security industry.
• Licensing: A valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision). CCTV licence desirable - training provided for the right candidate.
• Background: Fully checkable 5-year work/residence history within the UK.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and the confidence to make sound decisions.
• Professionalism: Calm under pressure, dependable and self-motivated.
• Flexibility: Willing to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using IT systems, phones, and email.
• Driving licence & own vehicle: Desirable but not essential.
