Now an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Relief Security Officer within Falck Fire Services UK Limited based at our Teesside sites (Wilton, Billingham and North Tees)

This is a relief role covering annual leave and other absences an ad-hoc basis as well as pay per use assignments. The role will predominately be a Relief Security Officer who would act up in the Relief Deputy Team Leader role to cover annual leave and other absences when required.

Role Responsibility:



Responsible for all aspects of site security operations including gatehouse duties. Presenting at all times, a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients. Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public visiting the premises of our client. Conducting shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for the purposes of service and incident management continuity Writing complete and accurate handover and incident reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports passed to you at the commencement or during a duty shift Ensuring the safety and security of our clients' buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with the Site Assignment Instructions. Working as part of a team to provide Conflict Resolution assistance at client premises where there is potential for conflict
Duties when acting up Relief Deputy Team Leader Role.

Managing all immediate rostering issues 24/7 such as sickness, covering shortfalls and dealing with guard's requests for shift swaps changes etc Ensuring the rota and changes sheet are correct for pay data to be processed. Collecting Gatehouse KPI's and uploading them to the spreadsheet for monthly reports. Auditing Security Guards and gatehouses to ensure professional standards are maintained. Making sure gatehouses are stocked with the relevant paperwork, cleaning products and equipment. Supervising a shift of security guards across all the Teesside Sites. Provide mobile security patrolling capability to be used at certain locations. Provide short term security cover at security operations in emergencies. Working closely with Site Protection Officers to provide security and road closures at major incidents on site. Assist in the investigation of Security Incidents.

Competitive hourly rate of 11.90P/H Rate of Pay during Act up in the Relief Deputy Team Leader Role: 14.07 an hour Working a mixture days, nights and weekends shift. Applicants must be flexible; Average hours up to 42 + a week (with the potential for additional reasonable overtime); Full and ongoing training with a view for career development including opportunities to progress; Company uniform provided.

Candidate Requirements:



Valid SIA license Driving license and access to vehicle Required to pass a pre-employment health check Required to go through BS7858 screening and vetting process. Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers. Excellent communication and administration skills. Reliable with excellent time-management skills. Available to travel 3 major COMAH sites in the North Tees//Billingham/Redcar area High level of customer care. Security systems knowledge. Telephone/switchboard skills. First Aid training would be an advantage. IT literacy would be an advantage. Previous supervisory experience (desirable)
