The role
A well-regarded secondary school in Northumberland is seeking a Religious Education Teacher to join its Humanities faculty. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available for experienced candidates.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver thoughtful, engaging lessons, develop pupils' critical thinking and evaluative skills, and prepare them effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality RE lessons across KS3 and KS4
Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)
Encourage respectful discussion and critical analysis
Assess, monitor and track student progress
The ideal candidate
QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching RE at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
