Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient tutor to provide personalised academic support to a young person studying religious studies at A Level. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills and experience working with children or individuals requiring specialised education. Duties

Deliver tutoring sessions in Religious Studies based on students individual needs and learning style Develop engaging lesson plans and educational materials to facilitate effective learning Assess students progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost confidence and motivation Communicate effectively with student and parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement Support student with special educational needs by adapting approaches to accommodate their unique requirements Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student achievements

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or young learners Knowledge of specialised education methods for students with diverse needs is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Organisation skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress Passion for education and a genuine desire to help learners succeed Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or subject-specific areas are desirable but not essential
1 to 3 hours a week in person at her home address in Acton Bridge, Northwich, Cheshire.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 30.00-50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
