Job Summary:
Main Objectives:Achieving metal product specification requirements + Quality
+ Cleanliness
Maintaining corporate and ISO quality accreditations Supporting chemical analysis and certification
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities Include:Evaluation, testing, monitoring and reporting of key process parameters + Furnace processing
+ In-line degassing
+ Grain refinement
+ Hydrogen content
Raw material evaluations Development of casting practices and technology + Metal distribution
+ Level control
+ Moulds
+ Casting water control
+ Casting practices
+ Ingot inspection
Organising and co-ordinating instrument / machine maintenance, service visits and associated contracts Purchase and control of departmental consumables Reporting of performance/results
You have: (required)
* Degree in related science / engineering subject.
