Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our clients healthcare team on a locum contract for 27 hours a week for December initially with a possibility to extend into the New Year. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications Conduct medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists Provide excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in Primary Care Previous experience using SystmOne and/or Emis Web Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
