Are you an experienced Tutor and Assessor looking for the opportunity to join a thriving, established team, and to make a lasting, positive impact on our learners?

We are looking to give an experienced, supportive, and passionate individual the opportunity to play a key role in the Learner Services team within Future Fit Training.

Role and Responsibilities:

This role is being offered as maternity cover for 12 months from start date, as a full-time position (37.5hrs per week).

WORKING HOURS

First preference for working hours are Mon to Fri 9am-5pm (to include evening and Sat morning cover on a rota basis).

Or

Mon, Wed and Fri (9am-5pm), Tues and Thurs (11.30am-7.30pm). One Saturday morning per month will be part of a rota shift (8.30am-12noon) for which TOIL will be given during the working week.

JOB DETAILS

As a Remote Support Tutor/Assessor, your focus will be supporting students through various steps in their learning journey. This role is heavily dependent on technical knowledge; therefore, having experience in the fitness industry is a must (current or within the last 2 years).

Candidates must have Level 3 Pilates/PT/Sports Massage as a minimum

and any other qualifications on top of this would be desirable. An Assessors qualification is a must, with Teaching and IQA qualifications being advantageous.

Duties

Your work will predominantly be remote/home based. You will assist with the process of digital marking of portfolios that you are qualified to assess. All assessments should be carried out in line with internal and external verification standards and meet the requirements of the qualification as set by the Awarding Organisation.

Marking timeframes will be developed and monitored to ensure consistency and efficiency. All KPIs will be discussed and reviewed on a regular basis and will form part of your performance leadership meetings with your line manager.

Cover Tutor Support sessions through a variety of mediums including social media posts interaction, emails, video calls and phone calls.

Assist our learners with generic support queries, undertake welcome calls to newly enrolled learners, undertake professional discussions with learners and general queries on system/booking issues.

You will be required to contribute to the Company's IQA strategy and be responsible for keeping yourself relevant within the industry through CPD and providing a log of CPD undertaken each year.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

A strong passion for and knowledge of fitness and fitness qualifications and a desire to make a difference to our learners. Proven experience in Assessing PT and/ or Pilates qualifications. Confident communicator, able to work with people and groups at all levels. A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow. Assessors qualification. Level 3 PT and or Pilates qualification.

Salary: 26,500pa (full-time)

Hours: 37.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm core hours (to include evening and weekend cover on a rota basis).

Contract: Maternity cover for 12 months from start date (subject to successful probation period)
