Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Removal Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring that items are handled with care during loading, transit, and unloading. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Must not be afraid of long days as some days can be 12hour shifts

Must not be afraid of driving long distances or moaning about it

Will be doing waste removals mainly

Responsibilities

Safely operate various vehicles including vans and flatbed lorries for the transportation of goods. Load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with packing and unpacking of items as needed, demonstrating when handling complex items. Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transport operations.

Skills

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role is advantageous. Proficient in driving commercial vehicles, with a valid driving licence for relevant vehicle categories. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tasks as needed in a dynamic environment. Clean full uk driving licence
