Now We're Moving are an award-winning Removals & Storage Company. We are looking for a hard working individual with a "can-do" attitude who can successfully work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a removals team, packing and moving both residential and office moves in Bath, Frome and beyond. We have a reputation for offering a high quality, reliable and professional service and boast many prestigious customers past & present.

Based at our Frome depot, we are looking for applicants of good character, physically fit and smartly presented. Ideal candidates will need to be cheerful and hard working. A full, clean driving licence is essential.

Previous removals experience is preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Duties

Clean UK Driving licence (essential) Must be very physically fit and able to carry heavy loads Honest, Courteous and well presented. Comfortable working as part of a team and taking direction from the supervisor and manager. Good communication skills. Carry out the safe assembly and dis-assembly of flat pack furniture Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness. Assist in Storage warehouse activities as required, including inventory management and stock organisation.

Experience

Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferable but not essential Warehouse operational experience preferable but not essential. Strong driving skills with a valid UK driver's licence or equivalent qualification. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads inside 3.5 tonne luton vans.
You will need excellent customer service skills as the job involves meeting and working around members of the public. Appearance is very important and to this end full company uniform will be provided and is to be worn at all times.

Hours of work each day are varied according to work volumes. There is the occasional nights away from home and travelling around the country. However, if you are looking to work as part of a team where every day is different, then this could be the job for you.

Basic hours of work are Monday to Friday and tend to be between 8.00-4.00/5.00, with a flexible attitude to overtime, Saturday's and the occasional night away (an additional overnight allowance will be paid as well as the B&B ) Customer Tips are also a regular occurrence. (average 2k per year)

20 Days Holiday Per Year Pro Rata + Bank Holidays. H&S training and uniform. All other training is on the job working within a team of experienced removals crew.

Pay: 28,500.00-30,500.00 per year
