Position:

Removals Operative progressing to LGV Driver Class 2 through are apprenticeship scheme

We are seeking individuals who want Job Satisfaction by working as part of a moving team and meeting and exceeding our clients expectations

You will be responsible for moving and handling Customers Household and personal possessions

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

Learn the Role.

Shadow experienced Operatives and Senior team members to understand the role fully and build your confidence on the job.

People-Focused Communication

: Engage positively with customers and colleagues, ensuring smooth coordination during moves across the UK and Europe.

Its Physical but you need Patience

Whilst you need to work hard when packing loading or unloading, you also need patience as often delays occur and we need to wait until we can either load or unload.

Keep each other going.

Working as a team is essential and sometimes when your waiting to work this is the time when you need to get on with your colleagues the most

Time Keeping.

Always be on time and be ready to start work. This will impress your work colleagues and our clients.

Work can be tough sometimes

and clients can be stressed. Keep smiling as we want to reduce stress for clients and a happy team produce great client results

All types of Moves

: Assist with transporting goods over short and long distances--from household items to office equipment--with care and efficiency.

Wrap & Pack Like a Pro

: Help prepare items by carefully packing and wrapping, then safely lifting and moving them into vehicles or new locations--sometimes with lifting tools, sometimes without.

Paperwork That Counts

: Accurately complete job-related documents and reports to keep everything running smoothly.

Safety First

: Follow Health & Safety guidelines closely and act as a Banks-person when guiding vehicle movements to keep people and property protected.

Full UK drivers' licence (no more than 3 points) -

Remuneration & Benefits Package:

Pay starts at 12.70 per hour as a Removal Operative but will increase to 13.70 per hour once you are qualified as an LGV Driver and when you have one years experience will increase to 14.70. All costs for lessons, medical and tests are included in our apprenticeship.

We encourage all our operative staff to qualify as LGV drivers so that they can maximise their earning potential and have a skill that will keep them in full time employment - for life!

Additional hours will be required when applicable Days- Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. Hours - 40+ hours per week (weekdays) times can vary depending on the job and can finish late on occasion.
