We have exciting opportunities for a Renderer to work in and around the Southwest area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in

external rendering, internal rendering, and finishing work

for extension and renovation projects. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Applying external and internal render systems to walls and surfaces to a high standard. Rendering, scratch coat application, monocouche, and silicone render systems. Carrying out patch repairs and remedial rendering work. Preparing and priming surfaces to ensure they are ready for rendering. Working alongside other trades, such as bricklayers and carpenters, to ensure smooth project progression. Ensuring all rendering work is completed to high-quality standards and aligned with design specifications. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment and adhering to safe working practices. Interpreting plans and drawings to ensure correct rendering work is completed. Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations. Communicating professionally with customers and addressing any questions or concerns.

Requirements & Skills

Full UK driving licence. Proven experience in rendering and related trades, ideally within home extensions or renovations. Ability to apply various render types (e.g., sand & cement, monocouche, silicone render). Current Health & Safety training certificates, such as: Asbestos Awareness Working at Height Manual Handling Risk Assessments Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
