We are looking to recruit a Renewables Energy Operation/Site Manager in the

Northwest

of England

, ideally based in the Cheshire area. This is due to the expansion of our site management and HV services in this location.


You'll join our

Site Management Team

within the wider

Operations & Asset Management department

-a multi-disciplinary group dedicated to getting the most from our clients' assets. You'll be home-based but hands-on in the field, collaborating with asset managers, clients, service providers, and contractors to deliver operational safety, inspections, maintenance, and emergency response.

What you'll be doing:



Overseeing the day-to-day operation of renewable energy sites Reviewing and approving contractor Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and ensuring compliance with safety requirements Inducting and verifying competency of all site personnel Developing risk assessments and SSOW for site activities Recording, reporting, and following up on incidents and near misses Planning and managing preventative maintenance schedules Conducting routine site inspections and producing reports Maintaining essential site documentation (H&S plans, environmental plans, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, etc.) Operating and maintaining HV and LV electrical systems, managing permits, and liaising with network operators Supporting integration of new assets into operations Participating in the on-call rota for 24/7 operational support

What you'll bring:



HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering/technical discipline Hands-on experience in maintenance, fault finding, or repair of electro-mechanical systems Knowledge of HV/LV electrical systems and Health & Safety legislation Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently Full UK driving licence

Nice to have:



IOSH/NEBOSH qualification Renewables sector experience Familiarity with wind turbine technology and operations
