About the role;
Being a family run business we are building our team for growing the operation over the coming years and want to find the right people to be part of this journey.
As a Rental Advisor you will have a varied and sometimes fast paced role acting as the main point of contact & support for our customers and ensuring that we maintain our first class customer service.
As part of this role you will also occasionally be asked to help with the preparation of vehicles (valeting & washing) ready for rental, as well as heading out on deliveries and vehicle collections.
What you will be doing:
Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly, helpful manor and showing them around the rental vehicles.
Making bookings for customers
Checking the vehicles in and out using our software and mobile app (training will be given).
Assessing vehicles with a critical eye to identify any damage and reporting this for possible recharging.
Preparing and valeting vehicles going out for rental. Including basic safety checks.
Delivering and collecting a wide variety of vehicles to both home and business addresses. (Inclusive of some general adhoc 'running about' duties).
Processing rental agreement transactions
Organising and preparing paperwork for rentals, including carrying out driving licence checks.
Organising repairs and warranty to vehicles where necessary.
Dealing with administrative tasks such as processing PCN charges & invoicing.
Other general duties.
About You:
A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required
Excellent communication and face to face sales skills
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility in your working hours, including availability at weekends & Bank holidays to cover branch opening hours.
Car rental/sales experience or Hospitaility/retail is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
confident and calm both on the phone & face to face.
Able to listen and take down information accurately.
Reliability, punctuality and flexibility is key.
Computer literate and able to learn quickly. (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Full Time Hours:
08:00 am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday (10-hour shift). Saturday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm) and Sunday (8:30 -10:30) - Weekends are Scheduled on/off rota. This includes public holidays due to branch opening times.
