Position Summary:



ORB?TER AVIATION is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Repair Coordinator

to join our dynamic team in the aviation industry. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient management of maintenance and repair services for aircraft components. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating repair activities, managing relationships with contractors, and ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Repair Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective repair solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:



Coordinate repair requests from internal departments and external customers, ensuring timely and efficient processing of repairs, Select and work closely with approved contractors for maintenance and repair services. Monitor repair progress to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA), Update and maintain the property and maintenance database to ensure accurate and accessible records, Assist in reviewing and approving contractor and vendor invoices related to repair services. Play an active role in MRO operations, optimizing stock upgrades, cost savings, and repair turnaround times Manage customer communications, providing updates on repair status and addressing concerns, Ensure that all repair activities meet or exceed customer expectations regarding quality, timeline, and cost, Support the quality assurance team in ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards, Proactively identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of repair services, coordinating with warehouse, logistics, and inspection teams as necessary.

Required Qualifications:



High school diploma required; degree in aviation maintenance, aerospace engineering, or related field preferred,

Minimum 3 years' experience gained within an aircraft component, MRO or trading environment,

Strong understanding of aviation maintenance procedures and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA),

Familiarity with aircraft parts, tools, and repair methodologies,

Knowledge of airline operational and airworthiness requirements & restrictions (i.e. allowable defects),

Familiarity and understanding of AMM, CMM, MEL and IPC etc,

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English,

Experience with maintenance management software and databases,

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks,

Detail-oriented with the ability to review technical documentation,

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook),

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,

Proactive and customer service-oriented,

Must be self-managing and able to work independently or as part of a team,
