Job Description
Repair and Assembly Fitter
Experienced Hydraulic repair Engineer/ fitter required for our factory in Elgin.
Main Duties to include, but not limited to:
The analysis, repair, and re-fit of Hydraulic Cylinders, testing and reporting defects and the repair procedure.
Working alongside production staff to ensure new required components are manufactured to a high standard.
Liaising with management to ensure repairs are quoted correctly and delivered on time to the customer.
Basic inspection of parts and assemblies.
Cleaning and preparation of component parts.
Assembly and testing of Hydraulic Cylinders.
Manual Handling of components between stages of repair and assembly.
Skills Required:
Engineering background essential
Good working knowledge of hydraulic cylinders and their associated components.
Safe use of hand and electrical tooling
40 Hrs per Week, Mon-Thu 0745 - 1645, Fri 0745 - 1350. Some possibility of overtime and weekend work when workload dictates.
