Job Purpose:



Perform maintenance and repairs to aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULD)Nets and Covers, as required, and carries out F2F all applicable regulatory requirements. Understand repair procedures as detailed in the repair manuals to be able to perform all repairs. Able to meet minimum productivity goals consistently.

Job Responsibilities:



Core role responsibilities are to perform maintenance and repairs to ULD (unit loading devices) and Nets. Work well with others and maintain composure during busy periods. Adheres to and enforces all safety and security guidelines. There will be requirements to repair covers and roll cargo straps. Component removal and replacement. Cutting and grinding aluminium. Solid and Blind Rivet installation and removal Straightening and replacement of pallet edge rails and fitting and replacement of corners. Replacement of new extrusion. Repair and Replace composite material including vulcanising Use of basic hand power tools and air tools. Welding and Forklift operation maybe required - Training provided if necessary.

Experience & Skills :



Repair work experience Industry experience Hand and Air tool experience Excellent attention to detail Ability to work effectively under pressure Confidence in handling large volumes of repairs. Excellent teamwork Ability to support and lead on different functions of the business if required. Maintain Quality Control. Manage workplace satisfaction.

Qualifications:



Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure. Ability to work both independently. Ability to use Company Tablets and bespoke online software to log and report repair / maintenance data. Reliable and Punctual attendance.

Additional information:



Full Time: 4 on 4 off Hours: 07.00-18.30 (30 mins for lunch 2 x 15 minutes tea breaks)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 27,000.00 per year
