An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Fairoak Housing Association, a small, supported housing provider, offering a range of accommodation and support to adults with a learning disability and autistic people across North Lancashire, Cumbria, and the Northeast.

We are looking to recruit a Repairs and Compliance Coordinator to join our small but highly motivated team based in Kendal, Cumbria. The successful candidate will join an organisation where we work together, and empower and support each other, to ensure we do everything we can to make a positive difference to the lives of our tenants.

This role reflects our commitment to driving and ensuring an exceptional service to our tenants. As the Repairs and Compliance Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for providing a person-focused, efficient and effective repairs and maintenance service whilst ensuring that our landlord obligations relating to the safety and wellbeing of our tenants is maintained.

The core responsibilities of this role include logging and ordering repairs, scheduling works for our repairs and maintenance technician, managing contractors, arranging safety checks, and proactively communicating with our tenants and support providers. Ideally, you will have previous experience in the administration of repairs and maintenance or a similar environment. On a personal level, you must be well organised, adaptable, and resilient with excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills and be able to drive a manual car with a full UK driving license. If you are not a positive, highly motivated person, we are not the organisation for you.

The post is fulltime covering Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm based in our Kendal office. The successful candidate will be required to take part in our on-call emergency repairs rota for which an additional daily allowance is paid.
