The Role

We're looking for someone to join our repointing team, ideally with some experience in stonework or bricklaying. The focus of this role is lime mortar repointing, lime rendering and lime plastering. So, if you have experience working with lime, great, if you are new to lime, we can provide training.

This role is suited to someone with a good eye, a steady hand, and pride in neat, careful work. You'll be working primarily on traditional stone properties in and around the Calder Valley, North and West Yorkshire with all materials supplied and jobs planned in advance.

Repointing stone buildings using traditional lime mortar Lime rendering Lime plastering Working on scaffolding or at height where needed Following clear job sheets and working as part of a small team

What We're Looking For

Someone with stonework or bricklaying experience (preferred, not essential) Experience of working with lime (preferred, not essential) Willing to learn lime techniques if needed Reliable, tidy, and detail-focused Able to work well as part of a team and take pride in doing the job right Someone who understands the importance of good customer service Must be able to get to different job sites around the Calder Valley, North and West Yorkshire

What You Get

Day rate: 150-200 (self-employed) depending on experience. Self-employed and employed option available All materials and customer communication handled by us; you just need to focus on the job Clear job sheets so you know what you need to do for every project Proper support and training in lime mortar repointing, lime plastering and lime rendering
