Role Overview:
The Reporting Data Planner will be responsible for leading and delivering cross-functional projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Guide the development of insightful reports, ensuring data accuracy and quality, while also mentoring and managing other analysts, working with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate findings effectively.
Using tools such as Matec, IFS and other ERP systems to obtain reports and data and bottle necks, capacity, OTIF, Tool servicing and use the data to drive improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing ABC SKU rankings and Safety Stock targets.
Maintaining and improving capacity planning and the outputs minimising working capital requirements.
To communicate capacity data findings with manufacturing departments.
Provide capacity data to departments for the labour budgets.
Provide capacity data to departments for the capital expenditure budgets.
To aid preparation of monthly departmental management reports.
Ensure GBS tools are being used when applicable to aid a continuous improvement culture.
Capabilities required.
Experienced in capacity planning and data management.
Knowledge of production planning.
Previous experience and knowledge of using IFS and Barco.
Key understanding of Barco, Barco data requirements and setup.
Comprehensive hands on knowledge of IFS ERP system.
MS Office suite of software.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Problem Solving Skills - process improvement techniques, problem analysis and resolution.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ideally worked in a manufacturing background.
Good presentation skills.
General knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and techniques.
Committed and target / action focused.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability practices.
