Garancie is seeking a detail-oriented and intellectually curious Due Diligence Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role you will collect, analyse, and report on information about companies and individuals to support critical business decisions such as mergers, acquisitions, and investments. You will receive comprehensive training and work on diverse and engaging research projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct public record research using online databases, media sources, and social media platforms.
Translate and summarise foreign-language materials into English.
Write clear, concise, and well-structured due diligence reports.
Manage assignments and ensure timely delivery.
Develop expertise in various types of due diligence reports and research methodologies.
Continuously monitor and evaluate research sources for relevance and reliability.
Contribute to the development of internal research guides and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong research and analytical skills, including basic financial analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Background in research or investigative work is advantageous.
Desirable Skills
Fluency in at least one foreign language (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian).
Degree-level education preferred.
Training and Development
Full training provided on public record due diligence, including media, OSINT, litigation, regulatory, and sanctions research.
Initial assessment at 3-6 months, with a final review at the end of the 6-month probation period.
