Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Research Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technologies for commercial refrigeration applications, contributing to technological advancements, and supporting the real-world application of the companies technology portfolio.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about research and development in a collaborative environment. The Research Engineer will work closely with the Research and Development Manager and Business Development Team to translate ideas into practical solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation within our organisation.

The role requires the candidate to be proficient in CAD and Adobe CFD applications, to be able to run 3D printing projects, edit and enhance the company website and to liaise with supply manufacturers.

Experience in commercial refrigeration, aerodynamics and an inventive mindset would be valued assets.

Responsibilities



Design, plan, and execute research projects aligned with organisational goals. Develop prototypes and conduct experiments to validate new concepts and technologies. Test ideas in CFD and laboratory, report findings, perform desiring enhancements and report final outcomes. Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate results effectively. Ensure compliance with safety standards and ethical guidelines during all research activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and research methodologies. Maintain the company website and associated promotional materials.

Experience



A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. Strong proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.
