We are looking to recruit a Research Assistant/funded Doctoral Student to join our multidisciplinary team of researchers. Together, we will deliver an ambitious research project that co-designs a digital intervention to increase physical activity for people with peripheral artery disease.
The post holder will be expected to be eligible for and complete a fully funded 3-year PhD studentship at City St George's, University of London. This post is funded by Professor Lindsay Bearne's National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Research Professorship. It is at the forefront of the UK governments drive to implement digital health technologies in community and neighbourhood services.
The research assistant will work closely with, and be supervised by, Professor Lindsay Bearne (Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation), Professor Tess Harris (Primary Care Research and Dr Tomas Vetrovsky (Digital Health Innovation). The post holder will also support related projects delivered by the wider research team, when required.
We'd like to hear from candidates with experience of clinical research, knowledge of behaviour change/psychologically informed health interventions and commitment and enthusiasm to complete a PhD.
