Applications are invited for a fixed-term IOI Research Assistant in Microbiology for Antimicrobial Drug
discovery and development to work under the supervision of Dr Alistair Farley, Scientific Lead for Chemistry,
with a dotted line to Professor Timothy Walsh.

The position is based at the Ineos Oxford Institute, at the Life and Mind Building, South Parks Road, Oxford

Applicants must hold or be close to completion of, a BSc degree in biological subject or relevant experience in
a research environment. The postholder will be responsible for providing microbiological data to facilitate the
design of new molecules, and understanding mechanisms of resistance, being undertaken in the medicinal
chemistry labs in the IOI and therefore will work closely with chemists and biochemists within the IOI.
