The Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at UCL is a global leader in the development and clinical translation of novel technologies for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Our group led the introduction of irreversible electroporation (Nanoknife ) to the NHS in 2021 and is now launching ARC - an international Nanoknife prostate registry aiming to generate the largest dataset of its kind worldwide.
About the role

The successful applicant will lead the delivery of ARC, coordinating data collection, analysis and dissemination of findings which will contribute towards a research PhD. They will also be involved in wider academic and translational activities including scientific writing, conference presentations, and where desired, clinical participation in focal therapy procedures, prostate diagnostics and MDT. About you
-------------
The post holder must hold a Bachelors medical degree and MRCS or equivalent Basic surgical training or equivalent. The successful candidate must have a prior involvement in clinical audit including data collection and presentation Level of knowledge consistent with successful completion of MRCS and familiarity with principles of clinical research. Some familiarity with transrectal ultrasound guided procedures and focal therapy in particular would be advantageous.
