This is a 12-month UK-based contract with a hybrid working model, requiring two days per week in our Manchester office.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the review, interpretation, and summarisation of scientific literature and support the development of a range of written materials, including Health Technology Assessment and reimbursement dossiers, literature review reports, manuscripts, value communication documents, and presentation slide decks.

Responsibilities

Contribute to research activities, including literature reviews across a range of therapeutic areas. These may include: + Systematic reviews to support health technology assessment (HTA) submissions
+ Systematic reviews to inform indirect and mixed-treatment comparisons (network meta-analyses)
+ Reviews of clinical evidence; economic models and costs studies; quality of life studies and utilities; epidemiology; burden of-illness studies
+ Targeted reviews of burden of disease or epidemiology
Develop review protocols, screening of search results, extract data, perform quality checks, and assess risk of bias for systematic and targeted reviews Prepare data for and collaborate with technical experts including librarians (to develop search protocols) health economists (for model development) statisticians (for network meta-analyses) and/or with clinical consultants to support the design and delivery of high-quality research outputs. Contribute to the development of reports, dossiers (including global value dossiers and HTA submissions) and slide sets Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members via email, telephone, and in-person meetings to support project work and proposals Implement and support the delivery of high-quality scientific projects to agreed timelines and budgets under direction of senior staff

Qualifications:
An undergraduate or advanced degree in biological or health sciences, health services research, health technology assessment, psychology, or a related field Demonstrated ability to read, evaluate, and synthesize scientific research, shown through academic coursework, research projects, or internships Strong numerical skills, with experience interpreting and working with quantitative data Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing project timeline Enthusiastic with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure within tight deadlines Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with reference management or data analysis tools is a plus
