Job Purpose:

We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to work on the AHRC-funded CoSTAR Screen Lab project. CoSTAR is a UKRI-funded 75.6m program and the Screen Lab is a specially designed 6,500 ft2 space equipped with LED, Motion Capture, 4D Scanning, 5G mobile and fixed networks located at the heart of the new Studio Ulster facility in Belfast Harbour Studios.

The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary team, in collaboration with academic co-investigators and industry partners and will support Ulster University/Studio Ulster in delivering the Research, Development and Innovation (R&D&I) programme for the CoSTAR Screen Lab. They will have the opportunity to work within high-tech environments in Studio Ulster and Ulster Virtual Production Studio to configure, test, and optimise 5G networks that enable innovative creative industry applications.
