Research Contracts Associate Grade 6
Job Description
The University is seeking to recruit a Research Contracts Associate to join its Research Contracts Team.
A fixed-time role until 31 December 2026, you will be joining a supportive team environment in which you will work alongside experienced Research Contracts Officers to provide contractual support to academic and professional service colleagues.
A member of the prestigious Russell Group, the Research Contracts Team deals with contracts that fund and facilitate the Universitys research activities. Ensuring those contracts move forward efficiently whilst protecting the Universitys interests is an essential part of the role, as is managing your own time and portfolio of work.
Forming part of the Directorate of Legal and Governance, you must also have an understanding of the legal issues which arise in the context of a contract, as well as being articulate, commercially aware and having a keen eye for detail.
You should have a Degree (or equivalent qualification) or relevant professional experience.
This is a fixed term post, available until 31 December 2026.
