Research and External Engagement (REE) is a new integrated service dedicated to driving forward the University's ambitions for research, innovation, skills and enterprise.?  The Research Culture and Development team at UWE Bristol supports academics and Postgraduate Research (PGR) students in their development and success. We aim to foster a sustainable culture based on collaboration, integrity, and responsible research. Our team leads major initiatives across the sector, including the Researcher Development Concordat, and ensures the University is well-positioned to engage with and benefit from these opportunities. 
 As Research Culture and Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and ambitious research culture throughout the University. Working as part of the Research Culture and Development team, you will design, deliver, and evaluate initiatives that support researchers at all career stages - from training programmes and internal funding schemes to sector-wide collaborations. You will work closely with colleagues across the REE Service and the University to identify needs, develop solutions, and share best practice that enhances our research environment. 
 This dynamic role combines strategic coordination, project management, and community engagement. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting people, driving improvements, and transforming insights into action to make a genuine difference in our research community. 
About you 
 You will have a good understanding of the UK higher education research landscape and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting others to reach their potential. Organised and proactive, you will have experience in managing projects, working with data, and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will confidently communicate complex information in clear, engaging ways and be skilled at building trusted relationships across teams. With excellent IT and analytical skills, you will be comfortable working with detailed information while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture. Experience in contributing to initiatives that enhance research culture or researcher development would be an advantage.
