KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience in general surgical training and demonstrating an aptitude to pursue research is essential. Previous experience in Organ Retrieval, Transplantation & Hepatobiliary Surgery is desirable. LEVELS OF RESPONSIBILITY The successful candidate will be part of the on-call rota for Renal Transplant Surgery (1:6). The candidate will also be expected to cover elective and emergency in-patient and day case surgery, general, Transplant and Hepatobiliary specialist out-patient clinics and regular ward work.



TEACHING AND RESEARCH/STUDY AND TRAINING The post offers an excellent opportunity in continue surgical training whilst pursuing a research degree. The department has a regular teaching programme and the post holder is expected to participate and contribute proactively
