You will join an interdisciplinary team and work on a variety of ongoing data analysis projects. Datasets are of two types - DNA sequencing data and tracked chromosome 3D movement data. The project will involve Bayesian inference methods, specifically fitting models to data (typically in STAN).

About You
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant subject such as statistics, mathematics, physics, operations research, computer science or data science, and have a strong statistics background. Candidates with either Bayesian or traditional statistical backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be able to programme in a high-level language for data analysis such as R, STAN or MatLab, whilst having experience with implementing Bayesian algorithms will be an advantage. A background in biology is NOT required.
