We wish to appoint a Research Fellow to join the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research, based at the University of Manchester. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to research funded by the NIHR Health and Social Care Delivery Research (HSDR) to explore how the employment and deployment models of additional roles staff in primary care impact on staff and patient experiences, patient outcomes, and GP workload and job satisfaction.
The successful candidate will be expected to be a highly experienced qualitative researcher who is able to work independently while also working alongside experienced colleagues and with shared responsibility for managing the project.
You will carry out a range of research roles, including collecting data (which involves some travelling), analysing data, and writing up results and publications. The roles will require liaison and collaboration with individuals and organisations in the NHS, other health and care organisations, and policymakers. This involves building relationships with other organisations and networks. You will ensure that knowledge from the research is disseminated widely to different audiences.
