About the role The successful candidate will need to have experience in either wet-lab procedures or bioinformatic analyses of complex data including genomics/multiomics datasets relevant for the current interests of the group.

A PhD or equivalent professional qualification is required for this role.

They will need to show evidence of independent and original contributions to the research.

They will also need to be willing and have the ability to supervise undergraduate and PhD students in the laboratory.

This role meets the eligibility requirements for a skilled worker certificate of sponsorship or a global talent visa under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL welcomes applications from international applicants who require a visa.

About you We are seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with either wet-lab experience or bioinformatic skills in analyses of complex data including multiomics datasets to work collaboratively with other team members, whilst developing their own research niche within the group.

The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Filipe Correia Martins (Group leader) and will work with the research group and collaborators\xe2\x80\x99 network and will be supported to build new collaborations as required.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualification is required for this role. If the PhD has not yet been awarded, the initial appointment will be at Grade 6B with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD Thesis.
