Job Description

Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr Patrick O' Hare conducting research for a UKRI funded project entitled 'the role of bioplastics, social plastics, and just plastics in a circular economy' (Grant Ref: MR/Y003853/1).


The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Social Anthropology or a cognate discipline with experience of conducting research with waste pickers in Turkey.


The post is available for 12 months starting February 1st or as soon as possible thereafter. It comes with 5,000 research expenses for the carrying out of ethnographic fieldwork.
