Research Officer in Inequality and Mobility
Salary from 43,277 to 51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to 55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance
Funding is available to support this position until January 2028
The International Inequalities Institute (III) at LSE brings together experts from many LSE departments and centres to lead critical and cutting-edge research to understand why inequalities are escalating in numerous arenas across the world, and to develop critical tools to address these challenges.
We are seeking to recruit a Research Officer (post-doctoral researcher) for a 24-month period to conduct original research on topics related to inequality, intergenerational mobility, and inequality of opportunity. The postholder will be based in the "Opportunity, Mobility, and the Intergenerational Transmission of Inequality" Research Programme of the International Inequalities Institute (III) and will contribute to the intellectual life of the School through conducting and publishing outstanding quality research on these topics.
The post-holder will also be expected to contribute to the further development of a database of , including to its maintenance, expansion, and documentation, as well as to use it for research purposes.
