We are looking for:





A research scientist to join our Adhesives Research & Innovation team in Wrexham, UK. You will lead R&D projects focused on developing advanced adhesive bonding and surfacing technologies to drive future business growth.

We count on you for:





Lead the development of new adhesive products and technologies, especially in thermosetting polymers Manage multiple R&I projects and ensure timely progress and reporting Conduct scientific research, experiments, and literature reviews aligned with business needs Build structure/property relationships and apply them to product innovation Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, production) Support scale-up and production transfer of new products Present results to internal and external stakeholders, including customers Secure intellectual property and stay informed on industry trends and IP landscape

You will bring:





Ph.D. in chemistry, polymer science, materials science, or a related field Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, structure-property relationships, and material characterization techniques Familiarity with surface science, resin handling, and testing procedures Experience in adhesive formulation (pastes/films) for thermosetting systems is a plus Interest in topics such as scale-up, lean principles, or Six Sigma; prior exposure is a plus but not required
