We are looking for a motivated scientist to enhance antibody development workflows and play a pivotal role in validating antibodies through end-use relevant assays. Your work will ensure robust, reproducible data for project decisions. You will execute skilled cell biology workflows and immunoassays, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver activities crucial for drug discovery. Additionally, you will manage the team's antibody assets and support data management.

Essential Skills/Experience:

BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in biology, cell biology, or related discipline; significant lab-based experience Strong skills in mammalian cell culture, construct design & overexpression, transfection, KD/KO (CRISPR/siRNA), cloning, RT-PCR Proficiency in a range of antibody applications: ELISA/HTRF, western blotting, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation Solid understanding of the challenges and approaches to antibody validation, ideally with specific, demonstrable experience Experience or strong theoretical knowledge of antibody generation strategies and antibody/affinity binder development methodologies Evidence of high level of organisation, and strong collaborative working style Ability to troubleshoot and deliver to projects to completion, with clear reporting Documented proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) experience or theoretical knowledge NGS experience, such as library preparation Familiarity or experience with protein expression/purification & QC methods Use of automation, such as liquid handling Project coordination (SOPs, timelines, CRO interactions, data management)
