Research Scientist I

What You'll Do



As a

Research Scientist I

, you'll be a driver of key R&D initiatives, troubleshoot technical challenges, and contribute to the evolution of our NGS product portfolio. A typical day might include:

Designing and conducting controlled studies to answer critical scientific questions that advance our projects.

Troubleshooting technical issues for internal teams or customers, leveraging your NGS expertise to deliver solutions.

Collaborating in team meetings, presenting data, and proposing scientific or process improvements.

Mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Communicating with R&D and other departments to prioritize experiments, draft technical reports, or complete quality management tasks.

o Possess a strong understanding of the chemistries that support our assays

o Experience planning and executing controlled studies to drive project milestones.

o Confidence in providing rapid support via email, virtual calls, or in-person.

Essential Qualifications/Experience:



BSc or equivalent in genomics, molecular biology, or a related field

OR

at least 2 years of hands-on experience in NGS product development or research.
