Bicycle Therapeutics is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing a novel class of medicines, referred to as Bicycle molecules, for diseases that are underserved by existing therapeutics. Bicycle molecules are fully synthetic short peptides constrained with small molecule scaffolds to form two loops that stabilize their structural geometry. This constraint facilitates target binding with high affinity and selectivity, making Bicycle molecules attractive candidates for drug development. The company is evaluating zelenectide pevedotin (formerly BT8009), a Bicycle Drug Conjugate (BDC) targeting Nectin-4, a well-validated tumor antigen; BT5528, a BDC molecule targeting EphA2, a historically undruggable target; and BT7480, a Bicycle Tumor-Targeted Immune Cell Agonist (Bicycle TICA) targeting Nectin-4 and agonizing CD137, in company-sponsored clinical trials. Additionally, the company is developing Bicycle Radioconjugates (BRC) for radiopharmaceutical use and, through various partnerships, is exploring the use of Bicycle technology to develop therapies for diseases beyond oncology.

Job Summary

Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking a talented scientist with strong background in in vivo pharmacology and tumor biology to support the preclinical research and discovery efforts for our expanding portfolio of Bicycle -based therapeutics. The successful candidate will have a passion for developing transformational treatment paradigms for cancer patients and will enjoy working across programs and will report to the Associate Director of In vivo Pharmacology.

Key Responsibilities

Manage in vivopharmacology research through a network of CROs and academic collaborations Design and interpret in vivopharmacology studies to evaluate the activities of Bicycle Toxin Conjugates (BTC), Bicycle Radio Conjugates (BRC(TM)) and other compounds in our pipeline, including their mechanism of action and PK/PD/efficacy -relationships Effectively document and communicate study results Effectively collaborate with cross functional disciplines (biology, DMPK, translational sciences, toxicology) and engage internal stake holders to drive decisions

This has a hybrid-working arrangement, with a

flexibility on the number of days being onsite.

Key Skills and Competencies

Relevant experience in the industry setting required Hands-on experience using animal disease models (particularly oncology models) required Experience in outsourcing in vivostudies is preferred (from contracting to reporting) A strong background in cancer biology is preferred Experience in working with toxin- or radionuclide-conjugates (antibody or other) is preferred Capability of working both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams Attention to detail and strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Innovative, entrepreneurial, enjoys working in a fast-paced, small-company environment
