Full time permanent contract

Key Duties:
Install underpinning software on current high-performance computing (HPC) systems and emerging Exascale platforms
Develop, maintain and run complex modelling workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve specialist user queries
Develop and maintain data management services
Manage internal CMS infrastructure; including improving the CMS web presence and working with CMS group members to produce documentation and showcase recent work.
You will have:
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, FORTRAN, C, C++
Familiarity with modern software development and software engineering practices
A Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with a strong numerical or computational component (or equivalent experience)
Good problem solving skills and desire to overcome technical challenges and improve existing systems
