The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is seeking to appoint a Research & Teaching Fellow to support its world-leading work in Design Innovation, with a focus on Digital Health and Design for Well-Being. This is a unique opportunity to join the School of Innovation and Technology, working at the intersection of design, research, teaching, and health & wellbeing.

This full-time role combines research activities (0.5 FTE) within the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) - a collaboration between GSA and the University of Strathclyde - and learning and teaching responsibilities (0.5 FTE) within the delivery of undergraduate Product Design (BDes/Mdes Product Design) across all years.

The successful candidate will have experience in design-led research, an understanding of contemporary design practice in health and wellbeing contexts, and the ability to support programme development and delivery. They will contribute to shaping and growing a research portfolio of national and international significance, as well as playing a key role in mentoring students through innovative curricula and live projects with external partners.

The role requires a strong background in design research and/or practice, preferably supported by a Master's or PhD in Design or a related discipline. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in participatory and co-design methods, and a capacity to work across collaborative research projects and academic programmes.
