Job Description

The Bridge Inn in Ratho is looking for an enthusiastic, personable reservations administrator to work alongside our restaurant team. As part of the TBC Pub Company, you will join a team of four reservations administrators who manage our table and hotel reservations for the group, via phone and email. Your role will be based at The Bridge Inn but could occasionally require travel to one of our fife pubs.

Role Details:

Part-time position: 20 hours per week, 2/3 days per week. Includes weekend hours

Key responsibilities include:

Managing restaurant and hotel reservations across the TBC Pub Company pubs Answering phone calls and handling guest enquiries in a warm, professional, and personal manner Checking guests in and out of the hotel Managing the restaurant and reservations inboxes. Creating marketing materials and content using Canva Supporting and scheduling social media posts Assisting with event coordination and planning Receiving, processing, and responding to guest feedback Actively identifying opportunities to increase sales and enhance guest experience Providing HR administration support (staff records, onboarding assistance, and internal communications) Assisting with basic finance administration, petty cash, customer invoicing. Supporting the management team with day-to-day administrative and marketing tasks

The ideal candidate will:

Have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and going above and beyond for all our guests. Posess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues Have excellent attention to detail and listening skills Show a high standard of written and spoken English Have strong computer skills and confident working across multiple systems, including all Microsoft office programmes. Be experienced and confident using Canva to create marketing content.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
