We're now seeking a talented
Reservations & Sales Manager
to take the lead in managing our reservations operations and driving sales across all guest segments. This is a hands-on, dynamic role for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional service, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless guest journey from first enquiry to check-out.
The Role
As
Reservations & Sales Manager
, you'll oversee the hotel's reservation systems, group bookings, and sales activity. You'll ensure all bookings are handled efficiently and professionally, with attention to detail and a focus on maximising occupancy and revenue.
You'll also work closely with the management team to develop rate plans, promotional offers, and corporate partnerships that align with the Lace Market Hotel brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations Management
Oversee daily reservations activity, ensuring all bookings and guest requests are managed accurately and efficiently.
Manage OTA rates, allocations, and inventory through Guestline.
Handle direct bookings, corporate accounts, and repeat guest enquiries.
Support the reception team with booking queries, amendments, and guest communications.
Sales & Promotions
Develop and implement seasonal offers and promotional packages.
Liaise with OTAs, voucher platforms, and third-party partners to optimise visibility and performance.
Manage rate parity and ensure all listings, photos, and descriptions are up to date.
Coordinate with marketing to promote special offers and events.
Groups, Meetings & Events
Respond to enquiries for group bookings, meetings, weddings, and private events.
Prepare quotations, contracts, and rooming lists.
Conduct show rounds and liaise with event organisers to ensure smooth delivery.
Manage corporate RFPs and review annual rate agreements.
Systems & Administration
Oversee key systems including Guestline
Troubleshoot and liaise with system providers when needed.
Maintain accurate guest and corporate databases for marketing and communications.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the front office, F&B, and management teams to ensure smooth communication and service consistency.
Provide guidance to reception staff on reservation processes and standards.
About You
You're a motivated hospitality professional with a passion for guest experience and commercial success. You combine organisation with personality -- able to deliver exceptional service while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
You will have:
Proven experience in hotel reservations, sales, or front office management (preferably boutique or independent).
Knowledge of OTA platforms and booking systems (Guestline experience preferred).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
A proactive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
