This role will response for the maintenance and repair of the Mechanical & Electricial equipment, fixtures and fittings, paint & decorating, and any day-to-day maintenance and repair throughout the Residences to ensure they are in good working order and compliant with all building regulations and mandatory test and inspection of these systems. Key accountabilities
Perform duties and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Residences and Residences Operations Manager and any other senior Residential team members as per the below:A: Mechanical & Plumbing: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Mechanical & Plumbing works throughout the Residences and carry out all mechanical and plumbing work connected with hot and cold-water supplies including AHU and FCU, Soil & Waste disposal system, ensuring drain channels and pips are regularly cleaned under planned maintenance program. B: Electrical & HVAC Engineer: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Electrical equipment and HVAC system throughout the Residences and ensures that they are in good working order, and complies with all building regulations and mandatory test and inspection of all electrical systems. Service and repair various types of electrical equipment. Attend to preventive maintenance on electrical panels/ equipment, and electrical circuits including lighting in the Residences. C: Pool testing as required.
Ensure all local building, fire and authority regulations including relevant standards, codes of practice and insurance requirements are enforced and observed.
Ensure preventive and reactive maintenance tasks are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and correctly recorded.
Ensure Engineering maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule including but not limited to: House Rules and Regulation, Health and Safety, Emergency Response and Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor and compile any issues reported to the Hotel Maintenance in the apratments and raise to the DoRes or Ops Manager as and when required.
Participate and contribute to daily team pre-shift briefings to ensure seamless communication and optimum operating performance.
Cooperate and co-ordinate will all engineers and external contractors whenever necessary and interacts with other departments to provide additional or specialised services.
General requirements
At least 3 years experience in a similar role within Hotels or Residential environment.
Excellent command of English language with confident communication skills. A second language would be an advantage.
Trade Cert. Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing systems.
Diploma in Engineering or Building service related subject.
Have a strong experience in engineering operations and a good understanding of building service (including fire life safety systems).
