Wates Property Services is seeking a dedicated

Resident Engineer

to join our team delivering hard FM services for a prestigious JLL-managed site in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring minimal disruption to building users. Respond promptly to helpdesk requests and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. Liaise with site stakeholders and the Technical Supervisor to maintain high service standards. Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives in line with JLL's ESG goals. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Experience in delivering hard M&E services in a commercial or corporate environment. Strong understanding of building services and maintenance practices. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

Experience with CAFM systems (e.g., Concept). Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent). Familiarity with sustainability technologies and ESG practices.

Qualifications:

Trade-related qualification (Electrical or Mechanical). 18th Edition (for electrical candidates). Asbestos Awareness or Duty to Manage certification.
