Job Description

WPS are seeking an experienced and proactive

Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)

to join our team on a new social housing contract delivering

planned works under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF)

. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving homes and communities across the North East.

Key Responsibilities



Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works programme. Ensure clear, timely communication regarding schedules, access requirements, and progress updates. Support residents with queries and concerns, maintaining excellent customer service standards. Liaise with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of planned works. Assist in resolving issues promptly and professionally to minimise disruption.

Requirements



Previous experience as an RLO or in a customer-facing role within social housing or construction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records. Knowledge of SHDF works and planned maintenance programmes is desirable. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North East region.
