RESIDENT LIAISON OFFICER - Permanent Opportunity

DIVISION: Building South

LOCATION: London
CONTRACT: Fixed term for 2years

Due to continued growth here at GRAHAM Construction we are looking to add an enthusiastic and engaging Resident Liaison Officer to our team. The successful candidate will be based across multiple sites in London and the South-East, working within our Building South business unit to provide support to our existing Site Management teams.

We expect the successful candidate to have stellar communication skills and have the ability to build lasting relationships both internally and externally. The ability to prioritise is essential, as is the ability to self-manage and organise workload effectively.

Previous experience within the Construction industry is highly desirable, but not essential

The Resident Liaison Officer shall be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the development and implementation of the relationship and engagement opportunities for all residents impacted by works
  • Managing implementation and delivery of a resident communications and engagement plan
  • Acting as main point of contact for residents and managing relationships with internal and external
stakeholders including residents, residents\' associations and site teams
  • Acting as a representative of GRAHAM and managing the communication between residents and the project team
  • Developing positive and effective working relationships with residents and the local community
  • Ensuring resident feedback is acknowledged and communicated to the project team, and that
residents feel actively engaged in the process
  • Managing communication channels to ensure all stakeholders are kept updated on project process and progress
  • Keeping residents informed on construction progress and activity and communicating complex
construction processes in simple and accurate terms.
  • Coordinating engagement events, including occasional evening and weekend events
  • Representing GRAHAM at stakeholder-run events including Resident Association Meetings
  • Working across multiple projects
  • Assisting with social value activities
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Resident Liaison Officer and the range of duties to be undertaken.
